Employee Pet(s) of the Month

We love cats!  So this week we are highlighting the kitties of one of our technicians.  Midnight, Mischief, and Purrana were all rescued as kittens and now share the home of Tiffany Gray.  They have several canine siblings also!  These beautiful photos were taken by Nicole Barrett with N.A. Buster

One of our Pets of the Month this month is Buster Douglas Gillespie. Buster is one lucky dog! He and his brother, Meatball, were taken from their yard in Virginia Beach last month. Buster was later found wandering in Newport News! Since he had been microchipped, he was returned to his loving family. We are so happy to have Buster back safe and happy. We enjoy his joyous personality and are so glad his story is a happy one!

 

Employee Pet of the Month

Norton Montoya is our highlighted employee pet this week.  Norton is the beloved buddy of our Hospital Manager, Beth Montoya.  He is a two year old lab who has already had two mast cell tumors removed.  He is undergoing acupuncture treatments to stimulate his immune system.  Dr. Vaillant is also exploring food therapy with Norton to help to decrease the recurrence of his mast cell tumors.  Norton loves his nightly walks through the neighborhood and is loving life. Feline Pets of the Month

Sonny and Tiger Barrett are our Feline Pets of the Month for July.  Sonny, a black and white Domestic Short Hair, and Tiger, a black Domestic Short Hair, are the pets of Nicole Barrett, of N. A. Barrett Photography.  Nicole took the photos of our staff members with their own pets which you can see on our website, www.pembrokevetclinic.com.  Sonny and Tiger and beautiful young cats who enjoy coming to see us for feline “Spa Days.”   They are always so good for their baths!

PET OF THE MONTH-RUDY

Our employee Pet of the Month for June is Rudolph Burford.  Rudy is a very handsome one year old black and white DSH cat.  Rudy was rescued by Sarah, one of our assistants, when he was found on a job site by her husband.  Both his front legs were fractured when he was found, and he spent a while with bandaged legs, but that never slowed him down!  This active guy moved right into the Burford household and made a place for himself.  This is one special kitty!

Poppy-Client Pet of the Month

Our Pet of the Month for June is Poppy Baugh!  Poppy is a beautiful, friendly beagle who will be celebrating her 12th birthday very soon.  She lost her beloved companion, Daisy, earlier this year and now does not like to be home alone.  So Poppy visits us at Pembroke Veterinary Clinic very often and spends the day with us while her mom is at work.  We’re all looking forward to your next visit, Poppy!

Pet of the Month

The team at Pembroke Veterinary Clinic wishes to honor Feisty Anderson as January’s Pet of the Month. Feisty is a frequent visitor with us, and despite some health issues in the past several years, Feisty is always happy to see all of his friends here at Pembroke. He does not have use of his rear legs, but he does no...t let that slow him down. He navigates his canine cart expertly throughout the building to see everyone, and he always greets everyone with a wag of his whole body!
