Pets & Potting Soil/Mulch

Did you know that up to 15% of commercial potting soil contains roundworm eggs? Roundworms, hookworms, and other intestinal parasites can cause serious illness in pets. Some of these parasites are even transmissible to humans! When decorating your lawn this season, be sure to use pet friendly potting soil and mulch, as mulch can also contain cocoa beans, which can be harmful to your pet. We can help with fecal tests that identify intestinal parasites as well as medications to safely and effectively control them.
